On Thursday 11 October 2012, John Symond from Aussie, Mark Hunter from Stockland and Mark Gray from Leighton Properties addressed an audience of over 120 Brisbane based business executives where they discussed the critical issues surrounding the topic "Property and the Economy - the State of our State":
The cyclical forces and rules that once underpinned Australia’s property sector no longer exist. Soft market conditions and negative consumer sentiment have cast doubt on the sector and our economic prosperity, despite solid fundamentals such as low interest rates.
At this lunch event, three industry leaders dissected the state of our State, by examining current trends from a local, national and global perspective. As experts in residential development, consumer credit, and commercial property, the panel gave their thoughts on which factors are needed to drive economic growth and increase business and consumer spending.
The event was kindly moderated by Kathy MacDermott, Executive Director of the Property Council of Australia - Queensland Division.
This event was proudly sponsored by KBH Solutions and Panelbuild Pty Ltd.
