Terry Moran AO addressed a private boardroom lunch for 20 CEO's of the Chamber's Sponsor and Gold Club companies in Sydney on the topic of 'The Government’s Priorities for the Future'. This event was kindly hosted by Microsoft.
Terry Moran leads the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) which provides high-quality policy advice to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet on matters that are at the forefront of public and government administration – including Commonwealth-State relations, domestic and international affairs. It is PM&C’s job to look over the horizon to the challenges and opportunities of the coming years and give strategic advice to assist the government to make the best possible decisions.
Mr Moran has had a varied career as a public servant, working with successive Australian Federal and State governments, with roles in public policy and public sector management. Mr Moran took a leading role in the development of a new National Reform Agenda, which is a broad reform program – including in the area of human capital – aimed at improving productivity and workforce participation.
