Dr Peter Shergold, Macquarie Group Foundation Professor addressed a private boardroom lunch for 20 senior business leaders where he discussed the question “Has the Financial Crisis Exposed CSR as a Bold Façade Built on Inadequate Foundations”? This event was generously hosted by Macquarie Group Foundation and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
There is no-one more qualified to discuss this issue than Dr Peter Shergold AC, Chief Executive, Centre for Social Impact (CSI), a unique partnership between Business Schools of the University of New South Wales, the University of Melbourne and Swinburne University of Technology.

Dr Shergold was a CEO in the Australian Public Service for two decades and, for five years, he was Australia's most senior public administrator as Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet where he served three Prime Ministers and eight Ministers in both Coalition and Labor governments.
