Chris Sullivan, Group Procurement Manager, Coca-Cola Amatil, 17 November 2010
Chris Sullivan addressed a CEO Boardroom event for 20 senior business executives where he discussed ‘Leveraging value from a global buying network’. This CEO boardroom event was generously hosted by Toga Hospitality.
Coca-Cola is one of the world’s top 5 brands worth a staggering $68 billion or so, and after 123 years, shows no sign of relenting. Coca-Cola Amatil is one of the largest bottlers of non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages in the Asia-Pacific region and one of the world’s top five Coca-Cola bottlers. CCA employs more than 15,000 people and has access to 265 million consumers through over 700,000 active customers.
Chris Sullivan is Coca-Cola Amatil’s Group Procurement Manager, overseeing the procurement of major spend categories across the different business units within the company.
Chris is focussed on leveraging CCA’s buying power and managing CCA’s procurement risk relating to strategic categories, strategic suppliers and long term contractual arrangements. He is a passionate procurement practioner, and is a strong believer in the value that procurement related skills can bring to an organisation’s decision making capability.
Chris has over 15 years of hands on procurement experience, gained in leading global FMCG organisations with responsibilities spanning the globe and has also enjoyed a couple of stints in consultancy, consolidating his procurement toolkit, and also more hands on role such as manufacturing manager and marketing brand manager.
