Gladys Berejiklian addressed a private boardroom event for 20 senior business executives where she discussed “Reforming Transport in NSW’. This CEO Boardroom lunch was proudly sponsored by UGL.
It was March 2011 that the NSW Coalition was swept to Government and Gladys Berejiklian was appointed Minister for Transport.
For NSW to continue to be a business, tourism and social powerhouse, the NSW Coalition has identified infrastructure as a key to our success in the 21st century - and an efficient transport system is integral to this success.
Ms Berejiklian discussed the major projects currently underway and planned for: North West Rail Link; Sydney Light Rail Program; Wynyard Walk – from Wynyard to Barangaroo; South West Rail Link; and many more.
Ms Berejiklian was elected to Parliament March 22, 2003 as the Member for Willoughby. In February 2005, she was appointed to the Shadow Cabinet as Shadow Minister for Mental Health and in 2007 Gladys was appointed Shadow Minister for Transport.
