Fourteen Israeli companies and their local partners received 2013 Australia-Israel Trade Awards in recognition of their achievements for contributing to bi-lateral trade growth between the two countries. Kim Jacobs, President of the NSW Chamber also received an award from the Israel Trade Commission for his lifetime contribution to Israel-Australia relations. The event was proudly hosted by KWS Legal and NSW Government Trade & Investment.
We were honoured to host both Mr Shmuel Ben-Shmuel, Israel’s Ambassador-designate to Australia on his first formal address in Sydney and Mr Bruce Gosper, Chief Executive Officer of Austrade. Both Shmuel and Bruce shared their appreciation for the strong ties between the two economies and their vision for future collaboration and opportunities to further establish and strengthen the relationship.
This event was a partnership between the Chamber and the Israel Trade Commission and the awards were signed by Naftali Bennett MK, Israel’s Minister of Economy, Jerusalem, and Diaspora Affairs.
