Jon joined us, visiting from Jerusalem, to share his valuable insight into Israel’s economic preparedness both past and present to deal with an ongoing conflict with its neighbours.

Jon is the founder and CEO of OurCrowd (www.ourcrowd.com) an innovative equity-based crowd-funding platform with over $60 million invested in 46 portfolio companies in just 15 months. OurCrowd has invested in (together with its global ‘crowd’), innovative Israeli hi-tech, cleantech and biotech companies. These companies include Argo - Rewalk which is currently one of seven Israeli medtech companies in the process of being listed in the US.
Over the years, Jon has invested in more than 100 Israeli start-up companies, helping 12 of them reach valuations in excess of $100 million. Jon was the co-founder and CEO of Vringo, a leader in mobile social applications which went public in June 2010. (NASDAQ: VRNG). Prior to Vringo, he was the founder and general partner of Israel Seed Partners (a $260M Israeli venture capital fund).
