Kylie Hargreaves; Deputy Secretary - Resources & Energy, NSW Trade & Investment, 31 October 2014

Kylie Hargreaves; Deputy Secretary - Resources & Energy, NSW Trade & Investment addressed a private boardroom event for 23 business executives where guests engaged Kylie in a discussion around; “A Blueprint for Developing and Investing in NSW”.

The success and prosperity of NSW is in large part the responsibility of NSW Trade & Investment (NSWT&I).  NSWT&I unites the key NSW Government economic development agencies, offices and authorities to provide maximum benefit to the state. Spanning industry, innovation, hospitality, arts, primary industries, resources and energy NSWT&I has set a long-term vision for our economic growth. Kylie explained the vision and strategy for developing and investing in NSW.

Kylie has enjoyed a long, distinguished and diverse range of responsibilities at NSWT&I. She currently heads the Resources and Energy portfolio.  Her division has a variety of roles related to the effective, sustainable exploitation and management of the State’s Resources and Energy sectors.

The five key components of Kylie’s remit are: mineral resources, energy, strategic policy and coordination, mine safety performance and investment attraction and development.

Kylie also drew on her vast experiences with the Australian Trade Commission and the Embassy of Australia.
