John Mullen, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Asciano addressed a private CEO Boardroom Lunch for 20 senior business executives in an interactive discussion around “Australia’s logistics supply chain – challenges and opportunities”. John Mullen was appointed Chief Executive Officer by the Board of Directors of Asciano Limited on 14 February 2011, and as Managing Director on 1 April 2011.
Mr Mullen was previously the Global CEO of DHL Express from 2006 to 2009 and Joint CEO in 2005. Prior to this, he was CEO of DHL Express Asia Pacific and held senior positions with the TNT Group for 10 years.
Mr Mullen is a Non-Executive Director of Telstra Corporation Limited, and prior to joining Asciano was also a Non-Executive Director of Brambles Limited and MAp Airports Limited.
Previously, Mr Mullen held various general management positions in TNT Limited, Compagnie Internationale de Restauration (CIR) and NACAP BV, Delft, Holland.
