Glenn Stevens addressed a private boardroom lunch for 20 CEO’s of the Chamber’s Sponsor and Gold Club companies in Sydney on the economic challenges Australia faces as a nation. This event was generously partnered by AXA Asia Pacific.
Glenn Stevens was appointed Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia in September 2006. Today, Australia and the Reserve Bank face numerous challenges for the economy with unprecedented high oil prices, global food shortages, the sub-prime fallout, inflation at its highest rate for 15 years and soaring commodity prices.
