Mark Scott, Managing Director, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, 28 August, 2008
Mark Scott addressed a private boardroom lunch for 20 CEO’s of the Chamber’s Sponsor and Gold Club companies in Sydney on the “ABC in the Digital Future.” This event was generously partnered by Mallesons Stephen Jaques.
The ABC faces challenges on many fronts in the digital age: what role is there for a public broadcaster in an era of plenty? What distinguishes its work in a world of ever expanding choices and competition?
Mark Scott became Managing Director of the ABC in July 2006 after 12 years at John Fairfax Publications including Fairfax's Editorial Director. Mark has post-graduate degrees from Sydney and Harvard Universities in Government and Public Administration.
