Business Club (for Small and Medium Enterprises):

1. Why Become A Business Club Member?

OVERVIEW

The Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC) is Australia’s pre-eminent Chamber of Commerce and one of the country’s most prestigious and active non-partisan, cross cultural business networking organisations. The AICC exists to meet the needs of businesses either by increasing business opportunities of its members within Australia or by increasing bilateral trade between Australia and Israel.

The AICC enjoys a unique position in the Australian business community through its ability to attract the nation's most prominent business and political leaders as both speakers and event attendees. The AICC leverages this extraordinary business network to deliver its members a strong commercial return, both in terms of targeted business promotion and personal access to relevant decision-makers. Membership of the AICC is a must-have component of one’s thought leadership, networking, business and staff development, and profile building strategies.

The AICC has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth, as well as in Auckland and Tel Aviv. Each of these offices manages an extensive and impressive member-network and event series to enhance business networking at senior levels and vigorously promotes bilateral trade through inbound and outbound trade missions. Each State Chamber has its own particular benefits, terms and conditions and costings for membership.

THIS WEB PAGE RELATES SOLELY TO MEMBERSHIP OF THE AICC IN NSW. Should you or your organisation wish to consider membership in more than one state, this can be arranged.

MENTORING YOUNG EXECUTIVES

It is incumbent on experienced business leaders to share their knowledge with the next generation of business leaders. The AICC, through its unique CENTRE FOR BUSINESS LEADERSHIP, has been running a successful mentoring program for its Business Club members whereby a young professional in the 20-35 year old demographic (mentee) is paired with a more experienced business leader from another organisation (mentor) under the guidance of respected mentor/coach, Dr Ilan Kogus.

The mentor/mentee meet for an hour once a month for six months, and the mentee also participates in workshops with peers. Previous mentors have included Terry Davis (MD, Coca-Cola Amatil); Andrew Reitzer (MD Metcash); Senator Connie Fierravanti-Wells; and many other leading business professionals.
