Nicky Drobis, Director, Fender Katsalidis

Fender Katsalidis is a highly awarded, multi-disciplinary international design firm whose work influences built environment thinking across the globe.  Schooled in both architecture and architectural history, Nicky is acutely aware of her responsibility to create buildings that contribute to the social fabric and enrich peoples’ lives.  As head of design, Nicky’s conceptual and aesthetic vision has shaped significant projects such as Australia 108, Edgewater, Ark, Merdeka PNB 118, Parque and Fulton Lane

Sam Tarascio Senior, Founding Director, Salta Properties

Sam Tarascio Senior has led Salta Properties to become one of Australia’s largest and best known privately owned companies.  From beginning in logistics and industrial property development, Salta Properties now has over 50 years of  experience with a current pipeline of $5 billion dollars of development across all areas of property, including residential, commercial, retail, industrial and hotels. The logistics business was sold to Linfox in 2008 after 38 years of successful logistics.  Since 2004 Sam has been the driving force behind the Victorian government’s Inland Port network project, he is currently developing the rail infrastructure that will link the port of Melbourne with its suburban hinterlands.  Sam and his wife Christine spend recreational time with their children and six grandchildren at their olive grove on the Mornington Peninsula producing internationally award winning Olive oil.

Amy Auster, Interim CEO, Infrastructure and Project Financing Agency (IPFA)

IPFA is an executive agency that works with the Australian Government, States and Territories as well as private sector stakeholders to provide independent commercial and financial advice that supports the Australian Government’s infrastructure investment decisions. Amy is a public policy leader and strategic advisor with expertise in economics, finance, the financial services industry and public policy across the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining IPFA, Amy served as Chief Adviser to the Commonwealth Treasury, Markets Group. Immediately prior to this she was the Deputy Sec., Economic Division at the Vic. Department of Treasury and Finance.
