MAJOR BUSINESS LUNCH
David Gonski AC and Terry Davis addressed a major business lunch for 500 business executives where they were engaged in discussion with Ross Greenwood, Business & Finance Editor, Nine Network.
Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) is one of the largest bottlers of non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages in the Asia-Pacific region and one of the world’s top five Coca-Cola bottlers. CCA employs more than 15,000 people and has access to more than 265 million consumers through over 700,000 active customers. With a market capitalisation of over A$9 billion, CCA is one of Australia’s ‘Top-50’ listed companies.
David Gonski is Chairman of Coca-Cola Amatil Limited. He is also the Chairman of ASX Limited, Investec Bank (Australia) Limited and Swiss Re Life & Health Australia Ltd. He is a director of Singapore Airlines Ltd. David is also Chairman of the Sydney Theatre Company, the National E-Health Transition Authority and the Chancellor of the University of New South Wales.
Terry Davis joined CCA as Group Managing Director in November 2001. During Mr Davis's time at CCA the company has diversified from a carbonated beverage company into a more broader based beverage and food company with premium alcohol beverages and food brands. Mr Davis is an Independent Director of Seven Group Holdings and a member of the Council of the University of NSW. He has won four World Masters rowing titles.
