MAJOR BUSINESS LUNCH
The Hon Nick Greiner addressed a major business lunch for 500 business executives where he discussed “Infrastructure New South Wales – First Impressions” with Annabel Hepworth, Senior Writer, The Australian.
Nick Greiner AC was appointed by NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell as Chairman of the newly established Infrastructure NSW in June 2011.
As a former NSW Premier and an experienced company director, Nick will be responsible for identifying and prioritising the infrastructure projects that will help grow the NSW economy and improve the lives of people living in this state. He will advise our state Government on project procurement, contractual arrangements, best practice, delivery and funding modes – infrastructure pervades all facets of our lives across roads, rail lines, water supply, electricity grids, telecoms, hospitals, schools…
This was a landmark address that will set NSW back on the road to a vision for our future.
Nick served as Premier and Treasurer of from 1988-1992. Since his retirement from politics he has been heavily involved in the corporate world. He is currently Chairman of Bradken, The Nuance Group, QBE Lenders’ Mortgage Insurance and Deputy Chairman of CHAMP Private Equity.
In August 2011 Nick was appointed as Senior Advisor to Rothschild globally and as Chairman, Council of Advisors, Rothschild Australia Limited.
