Craig Dunn, Chief Executive Officer, AMP, Tuesday 22 June 2010

Craig Dunn addressed a CEO Boardroom event for 25 senior business executives where he discussed “Managing AMP for growth in a new world”. This CEO boardroom event was generously hosted by Mallesons Stephen Jaques and IBM Australia.

The financial services industry is going through unprecedented change. Consumer expectations are evolving, the industry is consolidating and regulatory reform is imminent. In this session, Craig will share his views on the future of the industry and how he and his team are managing AMP for growth.

AMP is a leading wealth management company operating in Australia and New Zealand, with selective investment management activities in Asia (through AMP Capital Investors) and a growing banking business in Australia.

In Australia, AMP is a leading provider of retail and corporate superannuation and retirement income products, and is also one of the region's largest investment managers, with more than $114 billion in assets under management.

CRAIG DUNN was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AMP on 1 January 2008 following a number of senior executive positions with the company.

Before joining AMP, Craig was CEO of a Malaysia-based insurance company, a joint venture of Colonial Limited. He worked for KPMG throughout Europe and in Indonesia before joining Colonial.

Craig is currently an Advisory Board Member with the Australian Government's Financial Literacy Foundation, a member of the Government's Financial Services Advisory Committee and a Leader's Forum member of the Australian Institute for Population Ageing Research.
