David Stewart, Chief Executive Officer, Leighton Holdings, 20 May 2011


David Stewart addressed a Boardroom event for 20 senior business executives where he discussed the current business environment for Leightons and the infrastructure sector in general. David also gave his views on "Infrastructure Australia", "Infrastructure NSW", and the current resource boom. This CEO boardroom lunch was proudly sponsored by Norton Rose and Merrill Lynch.

David Stewart was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Leighton Holdings in 2011. Prior to CEO, David was former Chief Operating Officer from 2009 to 2010 with responsibility for Leighton International, Habtoor Leighton Group, John Holland and Leighton Properties.

His 35 years of extensive field experience covers project management and engineering roles throughout Australia and Asia, underground mining, bridge construction, water treatment plants, tunnelling and marine works including the Sydney Harbour Tunnel Marine Works contract.
