The Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP, Shadow Minister for Communications and Broadband, 29 July 2011


The Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP addressed a boardroom lunch for 60 business executives where he discussed the Liberal Party's perspective on the NBN and what impact it will have on the teleco industry, the budget, and Australians.

Malcolm Turnbull is a member of the House of Representatives and is currently Shadow Minister for Communications and Broadband. He was Leader of the Opposition from 16 September 2008 to 1 December 2009 and prior to that Shadow Treasurer. Elected to Federal Parliament in 2004, Malcolm was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister with responsibility for national water policy, and in 2007 appointed to Cabinet as the Minister for Environment and Water Resources.
