YBF Lunch with Andrew Demetriou, CEO, AFL
Andrew Demetriou, CEO, AFL addressed the Young Business Forum on Friday, 10 June at a lunch hosted by KPMG.
Andrew Demetriou spoke about the impact the AFL has on the economy, indicating that Australian football now generates nearly $4 billion in economic activity each year and employs the equivalent of more than 11,000 jobs.
He also emphasised the importance of social responsibility, giving back to the community and taking a leading position on social issues like combating racism and promoting respect for women.
In Q & A, he highlighted the importance of being prepared and planning well ahead into the future.
