Sponsorship Opportunities

Overview

The AICC enjoys a unique position in the Australian business community through its ability to attract the nation’s most prominent business and political leaders as both speakers and event attendees. The AICC leverages this extraordinary business network to deliver its Business Partners (Sponsors) a strong commercial return – both in terms of targeted business promotion and personal access to relevant decision-makers. The longevity of the AICC’s relationships with its Business Partners is testament to the success of its approach – an exceptional achievement in today’s increasingly competitive market for Sponsorship dollars.

The AICC has three types of sponsorship categories – AICC Sponsorship, Event Sponsorship and Trade Mission Sponsorship.

Event Sponsorship

Many prominent organisations choose to sponsor or co-sponsor particular AICC events in order to profile their organisation, product or service to a high calibre, targeted audience of leading business executives and decision makers, and to show public support for the Keynote Speaker (and his/her company).

Exclusive or co-Sponsorship opportunities are available for individual AICC events, ranging from private CEO Boardroom Lunches, to Major Business Lunches, Cocktail Receptions, Trade Forums and Young Business Forums. For the smaller functions, Event Sponsors may also host the lunches in their boardrooms which is a valuable benefit to bring decision makers onto one’s premises and more effectively profile one’s business and colleagues.

There is also the opportunity to sponsor an annual major business lunch or a series of boardroom events, often on a certain topic (eg. innovation) or targeted at a certain demographic (eg. CEOs, CFOs, SME’s).

Event Sponsors receive special promotional privileges such as:

  • Prominent display of company signage
  • Branding in event invitations (often sent by email with a click through to one’s website)
  • Opportunity to play a prominent role in the event eg Introduction or Vote of Thanks to the Keynote Speaker
  • Seating at the Head Table next to the Keynote Speaker
  • Distribution of promotional material to all guests at the event
  • Possible advertisement in any event brochure
  • Company logo displayed on AICC promotional material for the event
  • Prominent corporate signage on company tables
  • Complimentary corporate table of 10, in a prime position (for larger events).
  • Invitation to a private VIP pre-reception area before the commencement of larger events.

Each AICC State Chamber has its own particular benefits, terms and conditions and costings for Event Sponsorship. See the various State Events Calendars  for examples of which organisations are sponsoring which events and to see which events are AVAILABLE for Event Sponsorship.

Trade Mission Sponsorship

Since 1989, the Chamber has organised numerous trade missions to Israel. The aim of these delegations is to promote trade and facilitate business and academic relationships and collaboration between Australia and Israel.

To ensure focus and maximum benefits to participants, themed missions in areas such as IT and Telecommunications; Life Sciences; Water, Cleantech and Agritech; Defence and Security, to name a few, have taken place.

It is a tradition that each trade mission is led by an outstanding Australian business leader or high profile Federal or State politician.

Past trade mission leaders have included: Mr Tony Berg AM, Mr John Gough AO OBE, Mr David Mortimer AO, Mr Reg Clairs AO, Mr Charles Goode AC, Mr Alan Stockdale MP, Mr Stan Wallis AO, Senator Helen Coonan, Mr Phil Scanlan AM, former Prime Minister John Howard, and former Telstra Chairman, Mr Bob Mansfield AO.

Many prominent organisations choose to sponsor or co-sponsor a particular Trade Mission in order to profile their organisation, product or service to a high calibre, targeted audience of leading business executives and decision makers participating on the mission, and to show public support for the Trade Mission Leader (and his/her company).
